The newest team of the National Hockey League, the Las Vegas Golden Knights has made a playoff sweep, winning four games in a row against the Los Angeles Kings to make sports history.
The Las Vegas Golden Knights has become the first team in the NHL, NBA, or MLB to sweep their entire first playoff series in their first season. The Las Vegas team beat the Los Angeles Kings last night 1-0, winning them their first postseason series.
The Golden Knights finished the regular season as champions of the Pacific Division, very unusual for any expansion team to do in their first season. The Vegas Golden Knights will look to the next round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs to see if they can repeat their historic victories.
