News broke out from a close family source that Barbara Bush, wife of former President George H.W. Bush and mother of president George W. Bush and Florida governor Jeb Bush, has died at the age of 92, last night.
Barbara Bush was announced a day before her death that her health was failing, and that she would not seek further professional treatment for her illness. She has died from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, a type of heart failure.
The former first lady was known for her role in the Bush family, supporting both of her sons and her husband whom was President. She was married to George H.W. Bush after World War II. Originally, they were supposed to be married during it, but the ongoing war delayed it, as H.W. Bush, a member of the Navy, was called to the Pacific.
